Slow Down Move Over Parade Draws 19 Tow Trucks to the Tri-Cities

Updated: 5 days ago

Tow operators from across Washington lined up at Columbia Center Mall in Kennewick on Saturday for the Slow Down Move Over Parade, hosted by Tow Truck Operators of Washington (TTOW) and Target Zero, on National Slow Down, Move Over Day.

Nineteen tow trucks took part, joined by the Richland Police Department and the Washington State Patrol. The parade rolled out at 4 PM and ended at the HAPO Center in Pasco.

Awards went to:

  • Most Trucks: A & E Towing

  • Cleanest Rig: Rapid Towing

  • Best Dressed Truck: Big G Towing

  • Furthest Traveled: Royal Towing of Maple Valley, Wash.

"Thank you to every operator, officer and trooper who came out," said Matthew Porter of TTOW. "Every time you see flashing lights on the roadside, slow down and move over."

Thanks to Target Zero, the Richland Police Department, the Washington State Patrol and everyone who joined us.
